Based in Santa Barbara, California, John is a music obsessed, strategist, connector, and brand developer. He studied Jazz Guitar at The University of North Texas and University of Utah, Interned at L.A. East Studios, studied Ethnomusicology in Ghana, and has optimized his life around seeing as much great live music as possible.
His most recent venture Green Room Strategy focuses on marketing and strategic partnerships around the convergence of music, media, tech, events, and influential people, where meaningful things can happen.
John also works closely with Oniracom (one of the premier creative agencies in the music industry) since 2013 most recently as the VP of Client Partnerships. This lead him to truly understand business, deal flow, and strategic partnerships. John has had the pleasure to work with clients such as Warner Music Group, The Santa Barbara Bowl, Johnny Irion, AEG, Jack Johnson, SONOS, Chris Cornell, Shelterbox, Capitol Records, Bishop Lamont, Henry Rollins, Red Light Management, Sony Music, UCSB, Marquee Brands, Martin Sexton, Rudresh Mahanthappa, and many more.
He currently serves his community as President-Elect for the Rotary Club of Montecito.
