Strategic Producer
for Cultural Ventures
Green Room Strategy exists to help important cultural projects actually happen. We work with founders, executives, funders, and artists when a venture carries real stakes and needs a trusted operator to integrate vision, people, and execution.
This work sits at the intersection of culture, capital, and leadership, where great ideas often stall not because of talent or intent, but because no one is clearly accountable for turning ambition into action.
John Lucchetti, President
John Lucchetti is not a consultant who hands you a slide deck and leaves. He is a Strategic Producer—a temporary external executive who embeds with leadership teams to turn ambitious cultural concepts into fundable, executed assets.
He is brought in when the stakes are real:
When a project is stalled and burning capital.
When a vision is too complex for the current team to execute.
When reputation is on the line.
John bridges the gap between the "Artist" and the "Institution," ensuring that narratives land, teams align, and governance holds up under scrutiny.
John has spent two decades navigating the intersection of music, media, culture, and nonprofit impact. He doesn't just advise on strategy; he builds the machine that delivers it.
Executive Producer, Musicians for Kamala — a national livestream produced in partnership with the Harris Walz campaign, bringing together high-profile artists and cultural leaders from concept to broadcast in 5 weeks.
Co-Founder, Santa Barbara Records — built the business model, executive team, and community infrastructure from the ground up
Vice President of Client Partnerships, Oniracom — led strategy and partnerships across music, film, technology, live events, and nonprofit initiatives
Co-Manager, Alan Parsons — supporting releases, licensing, and live events for a globally recognized artist
Additional organizations and individuals John has worked with include 5x Grammy Winner William Lee Golden (Oak Ridge Boys), Emmy Winner Paul Mecurio (Late Show with Stephen Colbert), Jack Johnson, Shelterbox, Gary Jules, Warner Music Group, UCSB, The Santa Barbara Bowl, White Rabbit Productions, and others.
HOW JOHN WORKS
He doesn’t sell recommendations. He sells clarity.
He steps into the room, surface the "undiscussables" blocking progress, and force defensible decisions.
If the move is to go, he builds the momentum.
If the move is to kill the project, he says so to save you time and money.
His job is to protect your relationships, your capital, and your credibility.
GOVERNANCE & LEADERSHIP
Cultural ventures often fail because they ignore governance. John brings deep institutional discipline to creative chaos.
President: Rotary Club of Montecito (2019–2020) & Rotary Club of Montecito Foundation (2020–2021).
Board Member: Amplify Arts Project (5 Years).
He understands the fiduciary and optical dynamics that shape decisions behind the scenes—and ensures your project survives them.
