We Make High-Stakes Cultural Projects Happen

Green Room Strategy supports founders, executives, funders, boards, and artists when a venture can’t afford to drift. We step in to align the story, the stakeholders, and the operating plan—either through short, focused engagements to get you decision-ready, or as an embedded partner to carry the work through execution over months.

John Lucchetti, President

John Lucchetti isn’t a consultant who hands over a plan and walks away. He’s a Strategic Producer — brought in when a project is too important to drift and someone needs to own what happens next.

He works in the messy middle of cultural ventures — the high-stakes phase where a strong idea either becomes real or gets stuck in endless discussion. John steps in as a temporary executive to clear the path, align decision-makers, and make execution possible.

Founders and artists trust him because he respects the creative core of a project. Funders and boards trust him because he brings the structure and discipline they need before committing capital.

He doesn’t just advise. He puts the roles, decisions, and roadmap in place so the work can actually move forward.

TRACK RECORD

John has spent two decades at the intersection of music, media, culture, and nonprofit impact, including:

  • Executive Co-Producer — National Voter Registration Livestream: led concept and narrative development, built and aligned teams, and supported the event from concept to broadcast in five weeks

  • Co-Founder — Santa Barbara Records: built the business model, executive team, and foundational infrastructure from the ground up

  • VP, Client Partnerships — Oniracom: led strategy and partnerships across music, film, technology, live events, and nonprofit initiatives

  • Past Co-Manager — Alan Parsons: supported releases, licensing, and live initiatives for a globally recognized artist

Additional collaborators and organizations include William Lee Golden, Paul Mecurio, Jack Johnson, ShelterBox, Gary Jules, Warner Music Group, UCSB, The Santa Barbara Bowl, White Rabbit Productions, and others.

HOW JOHN WORKS

John doesn’t sell recommendations. He creates clarity that leads to action.

He steps into the room, surfaces the real blockers, and forces clean decisions—protecting your three most valuable assets: relationships, capital, and credibility. If the right move is go, he builds the plan and momentum. If the right move is stop, he says so early—before the cost compounds.

GOVERNANCE & LEADERSHIP

Cultural ventures often fail because they ignore governance. John brings deep institutional discipline to creative chaos.

  • President: Rotary Club of Montecito (2019–2020) & Rotary Club of Montecito Foundation (2020–2021).

  • Board Member: Amplify Arts Project (5 Years).

He ensures your project is not just a great idea, but a governable asset that survives the scrutiny of lead funders and partners.
